Q: When will a technician be out if we just logged a call?

A: We will send the next available technician and will give you an approximate time as to when that will be.

Q: My copier machine is flashing 'ap' and clicking what does that mean?

A: The toner needs to be replaced.

Q: My printer light is on and won't go?

A: If the diamond shape light with dots and arrow pointing downwards are on then toner needs to be replaced.

Q: Where do we find the serial number of machine?

A: On the Cardy sticker which is normally either on the top or the side of the machine.

Q: Where do I find the copier or printer meter reading?

A: Usually (if a copier) near the on/off switch. You can also refer to manual (printers) meter reading is a printed on status page.

Q: When can I expect the toner I have ordered to arrive?

A: Normally the following day if in stock, or if not in stock we will contact you and advise.

Q: What phone systems do Cardy service?

A: Siemens, Aria, Panasonic TD816/1232, TDA30, 100, 200, TA308 and TES824. Avaya IP Office, TIE System and Hybrex Systems.

Q: How do I stop the Back Ground Music (BMG) from playing through the phone?

A: Panasonic TD816/1232: with the handset sitting in the cradle, press 1 on your keypad to turn it off.

A: Hybrex: with the handset sitting in the cradle, press hash (#) to activate and deactivate.>

Q: How do I page using my phone?

A: Panasonic TD816/1232: To page everyone - pick up handset and press 23*

Q: How do I change my phone from headset mode to handset?

A: Panasonic TD816/1232: While handset is down, press Program 99 and 9 again. Dial 1 for handset or Dial 2 for headset. Then press Autodial Store button to save.

Q: How much notice do we have to give if we are looking at relocating our office?

A: A week’s notice. This gives time for the technician to check the new site to see if any extra work is needed before the move.
